Hi. I’m Diana Bubser – welcome to my portfolio website!

I graduated in May from The College of New Jersey in Ewing, NJ, with a major in journalism/professional writing and a minor in interactive multimedia. Currently, I work as a web developer for Streetcar Media in Westfield, NJ, designing and developing WordPress websites and formulating Social Media Optimization (SMO) strategies for companies and individuals – notable clients include celebrity comedian Rich Vos, Michigan law firm Serling Law PC and NJ law firm Calcagno & Associates.

Previously, I worked for the TCNJ Department of Public Relations and Communications as a Web Content Manager, transitioning TCNJ’s main Web platform from Contribute to WordPress, and was a Web intern for iVillage Health, an NBC Universal women’s website based in New York City, where I researched health trends, assisted in Web production and helped execute social media strategy. I also interned and freelanced for the online data desk and custom publishing departments at the Courier-Post, was an editorial intern at South Jersey Magazine and held several editorial positions at The Signal, the student newspaper at TCNJ.

When I’m not writing or producing, I enjoy reading, swimming, scuba diving (PADI Open Water Diver certified), obsessing over Glee, consuming copious amounts of caffeine and roaming the farms in my hometown of Mount Laurel, NJ. I studied abroad in Florence, Italy in Spring 2010 and continue to feed (pun intended) my passion for Italian culture through the devoted scouring of Italian language, history and food books and blogs.
